Welcome to Cedar Island RV Park

Located in beautiful Cedar Island, North Carolina, just 45 miles east of Morehead City, we are your first stop in the Outer Banks! We are located on the Pamlico Sound, which boasts breathtaking views, beautiful natural beaches with quartz sand, a full-service campground, motel, vacation rental condos, restaurant, bar, horse stables, and many more outdoor activities. We have a boat ramp on-site to launch your small boat, canoe, kayak, or jetski. Enjoy the beauty of Cedar Island where you can relax in peaceful tranquility, or be as active as you would like on your vacation in the Outer Banks!

Our RV park has 61 spaces with water plus 30 & 50 amp electric service. Several sites have full hook-up sites as well for your convenience. Most sites have water views, and 17 are directly on the water. Twelve pull-through sites are directly facing Cedar Island beach with fantastic views. We are located at the Cedar Island Ferry terminal to Ocracoke Island. We offer free Wifi in several areas, clean bathroom facilities, and a staff eager to help you have a great vacation.

Tent Site 3

Cedar Island Resort Campground offers scenic beach tent camping, tent camping in grassy areas overlooking the beach or bay and tent camping in a partially treed area overlooking the marsh grass of Cedar Island. These sites are all primitive camping with use of the bath house and shower room. We have additional tent camping sites that offer water & electric hook-up.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations made for stays of 1-4 days must be canceled at least 24 hours prior to scheduled check-in or 100% of your reservation will be charged for the first night. 5-14 day reservations must cancel 3 days prior to scheduled check-in or 25% of your reservation will be charged. 15 day and longer reservations must cancel 14 days prior to scheduled check-in or 25% of your reservation will be charged.

1-4 day Cancellations made with the required notice will receive a full refund less a $10 administrative fee. You may change the date of your reservation (with required notice) one time with no administrative fee if booked the same calendar year.

Holiday Cancellations: All reservations made during a holiday week must pay a 1 Night deposit for their reservation at the time of booking. Cancellations made within 14 days of their reservation will receive a full refund less a $10 Administrative fee. Cancellations made 7-14 days before their reservation will lose their deposit in full. We will bill the entire amount of your stay 7 days prior to your arrival. Cancellations made inside of 7 days will be billed the entire amount of their stay and no money will be refunded for any reasons. No exceptions.

NO SHOWS WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE RESERVATION FOR ANY LENGTH OF STAY.
