* All sites have 100 amp service with a 30-50 and 20 amp hook-up. All sites have frost-proof water hydrants for year-round guests and either full hook-up septic, use of our dump station, or you can request our portable dump service for a nominal fee. * Nearly every space in our campground has a partial or full view of either Cedar Island Bay or Pamlico Sound, and most views are absolutely breathtaking. You will love the sunrise every morning. * WiFi is available near our campground entrance, Sharky's Bar & Grill, and the motel. * Boating access is available from either our private boat ramp which launches into Cedar Island Bay or through the NC State boat ramp which launches into Pamlico Sound. Both ramps can get you to deep water access and the Atlantic Ocean.
* Playground area for the kids with a swing set, tire swing, sandbox, rock climbing wall, and multiple slides located near the bathhouse. * A brand new well was just added, and our water quality and water pressure have both improved drastically. * Shower stalls were rebuilt in 2020 with all new plumbing, drainage, tile, etc. Our guests have requested this, and we've heard you! * The bathhouse has been renovated with new hardware, tile floors, counter tops, mirrors, composite decking, and a new metal roof. Outdoor shower stalls have also been added for a quick rinse after a day at the beach. * Major improvements have been made to the horse barn and stables. Please say hello to our awesome horses. * A new dog park in the campground is nearly completed for our guests to let their pets have fun in a more controlled environment. * Picnic tables and fire rings are located throughout the park and can be delivered to your site upon request if and when they are available. * We are big-rig friendly with long pads in most spaces, interior roads wide enough to access any space, and assisted parking if desired. * We are conveniently located at the Cedar Island Ferry, where you can walk on, take your bikes or car to visit Ocracoke Island, and the other Outer Banks Islands for a day of exploring. * Beach access is available from the state boat ramp where you can walk through the entrance of the public boat ramp located at the end of our pull-thru beach spaces. On the Northside of the property, you can walk to the beach where there is a walking path to the left side of the ferry office. The beach is amazing with quartz sand that won't burn your feet, shallow waters, no riptide, spectacular views, and perfect for the kids and pets to swim virtually any time. Oh, and at any given time, you may have the Outer Banks Wild Spanish Horses or some free-range cattle come pay you a visit! * Sharky's Bar and Grill offers delicious, fresh local seafood and a full bar for your dining pleasure steps from your campsite or motel room. * Rent canoes and kayaks on site from the rental office and spend an amazing day paddling through Cedar Island Bay on your own private eco-tour where you can search for the Outer Banks Wild Spanish Horses. Book online now! * Fishing is available on the property as well as all around us. Our most common catches are Speckled Trout, Flounder, Red Drum, Mackerel, Blue Fish, and Mullet. Charters are available in the area at great rates through local guides or you can find a great spot onshore or wade into the sound to catch dinner. An NC fishing license is required unless you are fishing with a charter guide. * Crabbing, clamming, and casting a net to catch local shrimp can be a fun way to spend your day and is a popular event. * Horseback riding on the beach is offered at our Outer Banks Riding Stables barn.
